As "volunteer on safari" you will get to know people in different life situations. This journey combines safari adventures in Big 5 country, excursions in the surrounding area, as well as volunteer work in social projects ...and you will experience the country and its people up close.

What do you get?

The focus of this experience is on volunteering in social projects. We concentrate on one task (e.g. the construction of a vegetable garden), which will be completed by the time you leave.

You will be accommodated together with the other volunteers (max 6 persons) in a guesthouse in the area. We combine daily social engagement with different activities in the surrounding area. This includes e.g. excursions to the Blyde River Canyon or the Kruger NP. Perhaps a visit to the local wildlife rehabilitation center or a picnic in the nearby Drakensberg Mountains. In addition, you will spend 2 nights in a lodge in a private game reserve to join us on a true Big 5 safari.
